Symptoms Of Anemia
Have you any idea about anemia and its possible symptoms?
It is known as a blood disorder and comes up when the level of healthy red blood cells in the body is significantly reduced.
Anemia might sometimes remain inconspicuous in many people, its symptoms being minor.
As for symptoms of anemia, they include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, lightheartedness, pale complexion, irregular beating of heart, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), sleeplessness and lack of concentration. Whereas symptoms of severe anemia may cover dizziness and fainting, chest pain, angina and heart attack.
Two years ago my husband experienced some of the anemia symptoms, like rapid heart rate, shortness of breath and a fatigue.
He was diagnosed with anemia. It was obvious from his symptoms and by a blood test that was carried out to measure Vitamin B12, folic acid and bilirubin substances and the hemoglobin level in the blood.
The doctor said that first of all it was necessary to find the cause of anemia and then only treat it. In my husbands case anemia was caused by an iron deficiency. The doctor recommended iron-rich foods to my husband, such as whole grains, seafood, lima beans, dried fruits and green leafy vegetables.
Now my husband doesn’t suffer from anemia any more.
