A Long Kiss For The Night :: By Anahit
07/04/10
What is a kiss? It’s a wonderful way to express your feelings and desires, of course, but from the point of view of physiology and health, a kiss has several other functions, which make kissing not only pleasant, but also healthy.
In general, sensuous people live longer, so show your feelings every day before going to bed. Here are some effects a kiss for the night can have:
- Massage for the muscles of your face. During a long kiss you use 34 muscles of your face. The most active muscle is the round muscle of the mouth, which helps to keep the shape of your mouth and can prevent you from getting wrinkles in that area.
- Teeth whitening. Kissing stimulates saliva secretion with a high level of alkalinity, and the coating on your teeth quickly dissolves as a result.
- Immune stimulation. When kissing, your brain intensifies the production of endorphins (hormones of happiness), which activate your immune system (but, of course, the first function of the hormones of happiness is that you simply feel happy!).
- Defense for your heart. A kiss makes your heart beat faster and your pulse get more rapid. It means it gives a short but effective and regular training for your heart.
This shows how important it is to kiss. So, right now go and give a long kiss to the one you love. Or if you have no one yet, just go ahead and fall in love. It’s so easy, especially now, in spring! Love, kiss and be healthy!
