Avoid Anorexia By Eating Healthy FoodAnorexia is an eating disorder which can cause emotional and physical problems. Everyone can suffer from anorexia, as it doesn’t depend on race, age, society and gender.

Mainly teenage girls have such problems. When they gain weight or they feel they are gaining, they begin to eat less food or nothing at all.

Patients who suffer from anorexia don’t want to be treated as they don’t want to realize that it is dangerous for their health. But anorexia can cause anxiety, personality disorders, depression and  attention deficit disorders.

Several types of treatment are needed at each level such as individualized therapy, medical management and psycho-education. As mainly teenagers suffer from anorexia, family therapy is also included in treating anorexia.

Parents can have a great role in determining signs of anorexia. When finding symptoms they must control their teen’s food. The main symptoms are weight loss, dizziness and weakness. A family should support their child physically and emotionally.

Treating anorexia is not an easy task. Doctors, dieticians and mental health professionals should take part in treating anorexia. If the right treatment is given recovery from anorexia is possible with your renewed health assured.
