Create Your Own Weight Loss Meal Plan :: By Rosa
09/10/09
If you have made up your mind to lose your weight the first step to be taken is the creation of weight loss meal plan.
The most common things that are very important for everyone with no exception are healthy eating habits and exercising. Drinking plenty of water is also essential as it helps to remove toxins and clears out your body of fat. Each person should know what types of food are healthy and do not contribute to weight problems.
Most of baked stuff, like cakes, cookies, white bread, pasta, and of course alcohol are the main source of weight gain. These food are called purified and simple carbohydrates, because products made from white flour and white sugar contain simple carbohydrates which enter the bloodstream and spike blood sugar level. As a result of which a large amount of hormone insulin is hidden as sugar in blood. Large amount of insulin provides the storage of fat and of course weight gain. As a comparison to simple carbohydrates complex carbohydrates (whole grains, fruits and vegetables) contain less insulin. If the level of insulin is low then you won’t get obese.
Another major source of weight gain is the number of calories taken. If one takes more calories than he can “burn”, then thee excess calories will turn into fat. This is why most of the weight loss programs rely on eating food of low calorie.
If you want to lose weight, you need to turn to a professional and develop your own meal plan considering your body’s specifications and food preferences.
