Eat Five Times A Day To Lose Weight
Many people who want to get rid of extra weight end up choosing a wrong diet plan, which usually results in gaining even more weight and not getting enough body nutrients.
You think that if you eat less often, you’ll definitely start losing weight. And you stop eating breakfast (or dinner), but the extra weight doesn’t go away. You even feel you’ve gained some more pounds…
Let’s try to understand why this happens. When you don’t eat breakfast, you get more hungry during lunch and potentially eat more high cholesterol food than you would eat if you had breakfast in the morning. Your body can’t metabolize all that food, and it turns into fat. The same happens if you skip dinner.
Some people think that eating less will help them lose weight and they turn to a calorie restriction diet. It’s also a bad idea, because when you just cut down the amount of food you intake, your body thinks it’s going to starve and “puts on the pounds for a rainy day.” And again you end up gaining weight, though you’re almost starving.
Change your eating habits and start eating often, but in small portions. You should eat five times a day if you want to lose weight and improve your digestion and metabolism.
Eating five times a day is really healthy: your body will get all the nutrients it needs, your digestion and metabolism will start to work faster, and the extra weight will start going away by itself. And you won’t feel that persistent hunger or lack of energy.
Just try to avoid fatty foods and sweets. Keep a lower cholesterol diet — eat more fruits and vegetables, since they are a good source of nutritional vitamins, and boiled meat, fish and dairy produce, because your body needs proteins.
- Breakfast. Start your day with boiled meat, green peas with an egg and a cup of coffee or tea without sugar. Eating cottage cheese with fruits or a portion vegetable salad for breakfast is another good idea.
- Afternoon snack. Eat a fruit salad for a late breakfast. A carrot-apple salad without sugar is a good option, though you can choose any other fruits you like, even bananas (but not more than one banana a day).
- Lunch. Eat vegetable soup, raw vegetables or vegetable salads. And don’t forget about eating boiled meat or fish.
- Drink a cup of rose hip tea when you start feeling hungry. Rose hips are rich in nutritional vitamins and have many health benefits, so including it in your daily diet is a very good idea. Sometimes you can replace the rose hip tea with juices. Naturally, freshly squeezed juices are the best option, because they don’t contain any chemicals and are a good source of vitamins and minerals.
- Dinner. Boiled fish and green peas (or a vegetable salad) are great for dinner, since they are digested easily and don’t contain many calories.
