The first important point in the healthy lifestyle is your healthy diet, because the right food is very important for your health. Try to avoid saturated fats, because, together with cholesterol, they harm your cardiovascular system and can cause a number of diseases. Cakes, cooking oil, butter, margarine and cheese, fatty beef, pork, lamb, and similar foods are sources of saturated fat, so it’s a good idea to use them as little as possible. And try to eat food with monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fats instead. For example, fruits, vegetables, nuts, rice, legumes, fish are considered to be healthier foods.

Some people think that “healthy food” is an antonym for “tasty food.” Is it necessary to say that it’s a big mistake? If you choose the right diet meal plan your food will be both healthy and tasty.

The second point is your physical activity. Exercises and physical activity keep your cardiovascular system healthy, your body strong and fit. And your mood and emotional state will also be very good. Of course, it doesn’t mean you must spend hours at the gym. If you have free time for sports, it’s perfect. If you don’t, you can just do some exercises every morning and walk in the evening, before going to bed.

The last but not the least important point is about your habits. It is widely known that smoking and drinking lots of alcohol is bad for your health. Smoking is bad for your cardiovascular system and can cause heart disease and strokes. Smoking is bad for your reproductive system, because it can cause a number of illnesses and infertility. Well, smoking is bad for all the systems of your body. If you want to lead a healthy lifestyle, you have to stop smoking. Otherwise your healthy lifestyle will not be accomplished.

As for alcohol, red wine in adequate quantities can be good for your health. A glass of red wine a day will decrease the risk of having heart diseases and attacks. But not more than one glass a day.
