Don’t Let Your Headache Win :: By Anna
29/07/09
As we know every illness is caused by the dysfunction of the nervous system. Everyday trifles, anxiety, stress and depression we face at the workplace and sometimes at home are headache causes.
This is a problem that affects both males and females. Headache is especially unbearable when it is chronic. Tension headaches “enjoy greater popularity.” Not only psychological but also infection-related factors can lead to headache.
Taking medicine that kills pain temporarily is no solution either. Side effects can result from the effectiveness of pain relievers wearing off .
However, there are some simple natural cures which work especially for tension headaches. Taking both hot and cold showers and doing periodic exercises will make your blood circulate and bring great relief. Running, swimming and aromatherapy are good weapons too. The oils of lavender and eucalyptus are excellent remedies to cure not only headache but also insomnia–their constant use can work wonders. Follow a well-balanced diet and exclude caffeine and alcohol from your rations. Knowing the secrets of head massage therapy will also help you a lot, too.
However, you should remember that pain relievers are just one aspect of treatment. One of the most known pain killers is Advil. Aspirin, Motrin and Tylenol also enjoy popularity.
Don’t let your headache win. Take measures to prevent the most common illness of all times.
