Headache causes can be smoking, stress, fatigue, worry, shock, depression and anxiety.
Headaches are not generally life threatening. But if you suffer from regular headaches it’s necessary to see your doctor. There are a lot of medicine available that relieves headaches.
The prescribed medication depends on the condition. If the pain is mild a lower dose of medicine can be prescribed, but there are cases when it’s necessary to prescribe medicines for immediate relief.
There are different types of headaches such as tension-type headaches, cluster headaches, migraine headaches, organic headaches and rebound headaches.
The tension headache is one of the common types of headaches among adults and adolescents. This type of headache causes from mild to moderate pain.
The pain from a migraine can be moderate to severe. The symptoms of a migraine are vomiting, loss of appetite, upset stomach or abdominal pain. But the causes are not known.
Cluster headaches are the most severe ones. The pain is located in the eye region. A cluster headache may last from two weeks to three months.
If you have a headache, take the medication that is prescribed to you, but avoid overuse. Find out the reason for your headache and simply avoid it.
