Prevent Jet Lag :: By Lusine
21/12/09
Are you going for a trip and do not want to suffer from jet lag again? Then take these tips to avoid it and feel great even if you have crossed several time zones.
Of course you may always refer to jet lag cures but you may also take some precautions to avoid jet lag.
One of the most important points of this problem is adjusting yourself to the timezone of your destination. If you have stable fixed hours for meals and sleep you’d better arrange your routine according the time of the new time zone before your trip. Thus you’ll make your body get used to the new hours.
Take into account the flight hour. If it’s possible fly during the daytime from your point of departure. If you arrive in daytime, try to stay awake even if it’s already time for bed for you. Avoid using alcohol, as its effects on your body will be stronger in high altitude and you’ll feel more tired upon arrival.
It’s also very essential to drink water before and during the flight. So be sure to carry a bottle of water with you to keep your body moisturized. You’ll also need to exercise and move as much as possible, because your body will get tired if you stay inmobile for a long time.
Take care of your body and prevent jet lag.
