To understand whether a person is suffering from alcohol poisoning, first pay attention to his skin. If it’s cold, clammy or red, it may be a sign of alcohol poisoning. If he frequently falls asleepĀ  and hardly reacts when you want to wake him up, it’s anotherĀ  sign. People suffering from alcohol poisoning usually take 13 breaths per minute.

There are various types of alcohol abuse treatments. Usually alcohol treatment is classified into four types:

  • In Patient Alcohol Treatment – This program is for those patients that have been drinking for a long time.
  • Out Patient Alcohol Treatment – This treatment is for those who have less severe alcohol problems.
  • Christian Alcohol Treatment – It includes a Christian-based support program. It’s very important for some patients to not lose faith and continue to struggle.
  • Adolescent Alcohol Treatment – These programs are for adolescents who suffer from dependency on alcohol.

So don’t hesitate to take an alcoholic to an alcohol rehab center. With the help of doctors he’ll undergo proper treatment and return to a normal life.
