How To Keep A Proper Calcium Balance :: By Diana
24/02/10
If you think you have calcium deficiencies because you’re having teeth problems, keep reading.
Calcium prevents teeth problems and bone diseases such as osteoporosis. That’s why you should keep a normal calcium balance in your organism.
How can you get calcium?
You should eat food that is rich in it. Since the human body loses calcium every day, it’s necessary to eat dairy products to manage a calcium balance in your organism. Vitamins, carbohydrates and protein are the nutrients which play an essential role in calcium balance. For instance vitamin D, one of the most essential vitamins, protects against osteoporosis, cancer and hypertension. You can get vitamin D from dairy products and also sunlight. Taking walks on sunny days can potentially be beneficial as the sun is one of the sources of vitamin D.
You should also take care about your immune system and cell tissue. That’s why eating food that contains high levels of protein is necessary. Protein is found in beef, beans, pork and chicken.
As for carbohydrates, they are contained in rice, bread, potatoes, pastas and beans.
Also, take calcium tablets as they greatly help to keep a proper calcium balance. Calcium tablets such as citrate, lactate, gluconate, carbonate and phosphate might be what you need. Also minerals and water are the things a human body undoubtedly needs . Besides vitamins, calcium tablets also contain minerals. Try to drink eight glasses of water a day.
Also do the following:
- Eat dairy products
- Exercise
- Drink a lot of water
- Quit smoking and drinking alcohol
If you don’t follow the above mentioned points, your calcium balance can be off and as a result, you could develop osteoporosis when you become older.
Osteoporosis symptoms include:
- Pain in the back
- Loss of height
- Hump
- Bone fractures
You can prevent such problems by eating products that are rich in calcium and taking calcium tablets. But before you do, make sure you visit your doctor first and get his advice.
Keep a proper calcium balance and stay healthy! Trust me, there’s nothing more important than leading a healthy lifestyle.
